Time and Material support covers Sun hardware not covered by a SunSpectrum[sm] support contract.

Time and Material services include:

  • Hardware onsite support
  • Hardware telephone support
  • Relocation services**

Response Time

All Time and Material calls are scheduled on a 'reasonable effort' basis, which may be more than five working days from acceptance of the quotation and receipt of a valid purchase order or credit card.

Please note:

  • Contracted SunSpectrum customers have priority over Time and Material service calls
  • Sun reserves the right to refuse provision of Support Services
  • Sun does not provide Time and Materials software or patch support

Scheduling Service

Time and Material quoting is available Monday to Friday, from 8:30 am - 5:30 pm. However, if you have a SunSpectrum contract, you may ring within the hours of coverage stated in the contract.

Please be prepared to provide your serial number or customer number; and a valid credit card number, PO or a Time and Material account number. Please note: a minimum of five days advance notice is required.

Charges

Charges may include material, labour, travel expenses, meals and lodging. A 90-day return-to-factory warranty applies to parts only from the date of installation. Labour required to repair or replace warranted parts is at the published hourly rate.

Time and Material prices listed below exclude GST. Prices are applicable in local currency in Australia and New Zealand.
